How does bail work in Cerritos?
Basically the bail is a security deposit that is posted to the courts, so they know that the defendant will appear back in court at his or her scheduled court date. Once the person is arrested for a crime and they have been processed and booked, a bail amount is set. You can either pay the full amount of the bail posted, but Cerritos bail bondsmen understand that times are tough and this is where we can help. Instead of paying the full amount, you only pay 10% of what the full amount of bail is. This 10% fee is non refundable. Once the defendant is released from jail, which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the workload the jail has, it is important that the defendant returns to their next court appearance. If the defendant does not return then a warrant for his or her arrest will be issued and more charges can be added.

Each case is different, so it is important for you to call Cerritos bail bondsmen who are here to help you get through this tough time. They are experienced and have a close relationship with the court system, so they can give you the best advice due to your situation.
